Family Coaching
Via web or phone-based support, our licensed, trained professionals will guide you in your healing journey through the use of evidence-based skills and compassionate support. Family Coaching will support you in rebuilding trust with your loved one and your family as you heal from the damaging effects that substance use can have on the family.
Through Hazelden Betty Ford's Family Coaching services, you (as a parent, spouse, sibling and other family member) will receive support to address any number of the following concerns:
- Relationship skills
- Rebuilding trust
- Personal wellness and self-care
- Clarify boundaries or limits
- Better understanding on how to help and
- Better understand your role in the recovery journey
Sessions/cost is per family, as an example, for parents participating in coaching, you will be participating in these sessions together. However, there can be multiple types of how families use and need these sessions, please do not hesitate to reach out with questions on how Coaching can serve your family's needs!
Please note, the identified patient/loved one does not participate in these calls with you. If you have extended family or more than 4 family members that would like to participate, our Healthy Relationship Workshops might be more beneficial for your situation.
To enroll in Family coaching, please click "Register Online" to finalize your registration for the 6 30-minute sessions. You can always continue past the first 6 sessions, as you connect with your coach, we want to ensure that you have the support that you need. Your healing journey is important to us.
If you would like a reminder of the terms and conditions, click here. You will be asked to agree to these upon registering.
After registering:
- You will receive a generic email confirming your registration.
- If this is payment for re-enrollment in coaching, you can connect with your coach if your next session is not yet scheduled.
- If this is a new payment for coaching, your assigned coach will reach out to you within two (2) business days via email to schedule your first coaching session.
